ABOUT: Ariel's love of all food began at an early age on a rural farm in Sonoma County, California. She and her sister started their own "in house' restaurant as kids; they made meals from a large family garden, raised their own animals for meat and dairy, and had a mom who cooked their meals from Julia Child's cookbooks.
After a trip to Europe in 1989, her inspiration ran wild and she has never looked back. Now with 25 years experience in the food and wine industry, cooking for clients in private homes and wineries, she continues to find passion for anything revolving around the creation of food craft.
Ariel's highlighted skills and nterests include recipe development, foraging, traveling, baking with wild yeasts, and helping to create custom events for her clients. Food products are sourced locally and organically when possible and Ariel makes a point of incorporating heritage grains, legumes and meats into her seasonal and globally inspired menus.
